In other news, I got hired at a game company!  Yay!  I got laid off from game company!  Boo!  Yeah, the whole recession thing?  It's real.  I hadn't really been affected by it previously, but I worked for a small company and although they loved my work, they had to let several of their junior artists go.  Being the newest, I got axed.  I got some great references though, and have been looking for new work.  It's not been working out so well.  Despite having great connections and awesome friends in and around the industry, no one seems to be hiring!
